Real estate industry keeps growing at a remarkable rate. If you are reading this article, chances are you are considering a career as a real estate agent. Great! I can`t tell you enough how exciting it can be and how much freedom it can get you. Not only a financial freedom but also a new lifestyle where you can dictate your own schedule, what you do, when and how.. You get to meet a lot of great and "not so great" people. But overall, one thing is for sure, sky is the limit in terms of what you can achieve. And it doesn`t matter if you are in your 30's, 40's, 50's or any other age. You can quickly rip the benefits of being a real estate professional.
There is no such thing as starting too young, or too old, both have their advantages. Many people ask me how much money can a real estate agent make. The answer is simple, as much money as you plan for. Obviously it is easy to say, however with good training, schedule, commitment sky literally is the limit. As a new agent, given you go in and commit your time, put and effort and don't give up you could easily make $100,000.00 the first year. At the end of the day to make it, you only need to sell about 1 or 2 homes a month, or even less depending on your market. Of course, all these sales are not going to come from nowhere. So, you will need to work, yes, you heard right - you need to work.
You need to apply yourself, create schedule, you need to know what and how to say. You need to know your scripts like your own name, you need a database that you work every day. You need to network. You always need to improve your skill and keep building your sphere of influance. And many more...
Don`t wait, the time is now. It takes about 2-3 months to get your license and start a new life regardless of who you are, where you are, what your situation is, where you come from, etc.
